Granted, it's a fish-eye lens. But, wow, they are so different.
We have some explaining to do
J was observing our neighbor walk to her house from her car while we worked in the yard. She told us, "Hers is a boy."
B mumbled back something to effect that our neighbor is a woman but prefers to wear her hair short and boy clothes.
J said, "She lives with her sister." (J is now alternating between the wrong and correct pronoun. It's a little bittersweet for me to see that disappear.)
B: "Uhhh..... that's not her sister..."
Our neighborhood attracts a lot of artist types. She's going to learn about non-traditional lifestyles earlier than we did!
J Summons the Crows
So we found this caller and J likes to blow on it, like any toddler would. I've gone running while she's in the jogging stroller blowing away, scaring strangers on the sidewalk. Both of us get a kick out of it.
But this hasn't ever happened before. She started blowing it outside, and about a dozen crows showed up out of nowhere.
C Gets Her Toes
Bonus: J doing a book interpretation.
October

We adopted a shelter dog, Shelby. He is believed to be a mix of golden retriever and beagle. He's only 6 or 7 months old, but he seemed to be a pretty chill dog and good with J. I've never had a dog before that liked to fetch a ball. He loves it.
This autumn has been unusually warm. Not that I'm complaining! We've enjoyed a lot of time outdoors, which is most excellent, and the fall foliage in our neighborhood has been quite amazing.
